Invasion of the Plastic People, 2011. Assorted plastic bags, grocery bags and product bags, packing tape. After viewing the documentary " Bag It!" students wrote editorials to persuade others to stop using disposable plastics and how those plastics are harming our planet. Teams of students designed and made plastic "people" which were exhibited along with their writings, in businesses in Haddon Township, at the Dumpster Diver Art Gallery on South Street (see below) and at the Haddon Township Environmental Center (for their showing of Bag It!) to help spread the word about the dangers of single use plastics. Students were mummy-wrapped in plastic by their teammates to create body parts and forms, which were then assembled to create entire figures.
